Both are highly durable, but 316L (Marine-Grade) stainless steel contains molybdenum, which provides significantly higher resistance to corrosion, especially against chlorides (like salt or chlorine used in water sanitation). If your tub will be outdoors in coastal areas, or if you plan to use aggressive sanitizers or Epsom salts frequently, we strongly recommend the 316L upgrade. 304 is perfectly sufficient for standard indoor use with fresh water.

Yes. The Canadian Red Cedar exterior is inherently resistant to weather, rot, and insects, and it undergoes a special anti-weathering treatment in our factory. However, to maximize its lifespan and maintain the pristine wood color, we recommend using a protective cover when not in use and placing it under a pergola or awning to shield it from direct, intense UV rays and heavy snow accumulation.

Maintenance is incredibly simple thanks to the stainless steel liner. After draining, simply wipe the interior with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive soap. Rinse thoroughly. For the wooden exterior, wipe it down occasionally with a damp cloth. We recommend applying a natural wood sealant or cedar oil every 6-12 months to maintain its luster and protective properties.
